QCC

QCC or Quick Cordyceps is an ongoing art series that simulates abstract shapes being translated into sculptures alluding to well known comic characters. It shows formal aspects of uninhibited growth of autonomous matter ("grey goo").

They are part of a larger ZEITGUISED strand of work that is playing with minimal attributions of characters and their narratives which are subsumed under #disneyfication, #disneyfy, #characterize

Representing both artist craft work and simulations of geometries at once, they have no physical qualities and are shown in a seductive, pseudo-documentary photographic style.

QCC as a project started in fall of 2010 and the premiere public show was Stroke Art Fair in Berlin that year.
